You want to know more about volunteering at Greenline Africa? Ask us anything!

For now, here is our FAQ:

Accommodation: is provided at the Greenline Africa Centre which is located within the rural area just 20kms from Victoria Falls town. This is a farm style house with two bedrooms that sleep 4 people.

  • 2 rooms each with 4 beds sharing en-suite shower and toilets.
  • Lecture / training room
  • Open-plan kitchen, lounge area – 3 meals per day provided
  • Large verandah area with barbeque facilities

Meals: Volunteers can enjoy three simple meals a day which are prepared together with help from the local cook. Volunteers are welcome to prepare different food than that provided at their own cost and this can be purchased on town trips at the local supermarket. Any meals eaten at restaurants or other outside places will be for your own cost.
If you have special dietary requirements, this needs to be included in the relevant space on the booking form.

Laundry: is done weekly for you at the Greenline Africa Centre by our friendly housekeeping staff. Please ensure all items of clothes and towels are labelled with your name. Laundry bags are provided.

Communication: the Centre has local internet connection for wifi usage and volunteers can also buy local sim cards for your cell phones in town or at the airport.

Includes return transfers from Victoria Falls Airport, accommodation, all meals, volunteer activities, does not include flights, alcoholic beverages, confectionary, wi-fi, extra excusions)

Working hours: on average 7-8 hours are spent on projects, however this may differ from day to day. After hours in the evening are generally at leisure. Weekends are off-time.

Weekends are off-time and volunteers may choose to either stay at the Centre or go out and explore Victoria Falls and it’s surrounds. If volunteers would like to book any activity in Victoria Falls, the Centre facilitator will be happy to assist you with the bookings. All our volunteers will be offered discounted rates on specific activities and some of these include:
White water rafting, River-boarding, Boat cruises, Canoe Trails upper Zambezi, Micro light flights (Zambian Side), Devils Pools (Zambian Side), Bungee Jumping, Helicopter flights, Hi-Wire activities, Horse trails, Cycle tours, Chobe day trips (Botswana), Fishing safaris, Victoria Falls Steam Train and more.
