Activities include community development, environment conservation, recycling, education, health, water and rural agriculture which are run in partnership with local traditional leaders, and relevant authorities. We recommend you stay for a minimum of 1 week.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-106\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greenlineafrica.org\/greenlineafrica\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_0848-e1531170964189.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1023\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Our Volunteer programme activities take place Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. Saturday afternoon Sunday are spent at leisure where you can choose to relax in a beautiful homestead environment or experience the adventure and adrenalin side of Victoria Falls and Livingstone and soak up the local culture. Greenline Africa can organize your adventure activities at discounted rates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Greenline Africa Volunteer Programme major areas of focus are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1>Education<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Early Childhood education<\/li>\n<li>Playgrounds for Peace<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Community Development<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Agricultural projects<\/li>\n<li>Vegetable gardens<\/li>\n<li>Tree &amp; Garden Nursery<\/li>\n<li>Support to local Gogo\u2019s (Grandmothers who are looking after children, mainly orphans)<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s groups<\/li>\n<li>Building projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Environment and Conservation Management<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Alien species removal such as lantana camera vegetation<\/li>\n<li>Gully reclaimation and road maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Clean Up operations<\/li>\n<li>Assistance at the Recycling Centre<\/li>\n<li>Bird identification, especially Raptors within the area<\/li>\n<li>Tree planting and protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greenline Africa has an exciting action orientated volunteer program aimed at making a difference to our environment, our people and the communities in which we work and can be added to the beginning or the end of your Africa Safari.
